Bernard Weatherill Ltd

"The World's Finest Sporting Tailor"

Bernard Weatherill was established in 1912 as a breeches maker. The company rapidly diversified into riding clothes for all equestrian activities and then into sporting outfits, Ladies costumes and Gentlemens suits.

An early indication of the Company's success was the receipt of a Royal Warrant from King George V, an accolade with which the Company has been honoured by all subsequent monarchs.

Today Bernard Weatherill hold Royal Appointments to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.

The company supplied the Dressage and show coats for all three of Britain's equestrian teams at the 1996 Olympic games, continuing an association spanning more than 30 years.

Every garment we make is completely bespoke, from the cutting of the cloth to the finely detailed art of finishing. A vast amount of time goes into the making of our clothes and they frequently last a lifetime, and often two.

This Fall Bernard Weatherill Ltd. will be taking orders throughout the United States on their Autumn 1996 Tour. You may express an interest via our Tour Form.
