Solving the problem starts with one's self. The person in the mirror.
I cannot think of a single corporation, business, company or individual
(including vegans) who do not contribute to the damaging of natural
resources. I wonder if some kind of religious belief isn't behind
this fervor? I mean men are much more humane killers than most carnivores.
We rarelky eat our food or rip it apart live. Except for vegetables which
are (yes!) alive and we eat them without a second thought. I find that if
I want to be a part of the solution I must use products, services and energy
wisely and think about what I am doing. This is not a vegan vs nonvegan
issue, it is one of health, ecology, etc. I find that candy, pastries,
snack foods are far more responsible for health problems in developed
countries than meat products. compare the tons of snack foods and candy
to the tonnage of beef and you will be amazed. Please! Stop driving cars unnecessarily, recycle!, don't use chemicals and
if you do.. dispose of them properly, think before you act. I hope that
regardless of philosophical, political, religious and personal opinions..
that we all come to *manage* all our resources well and that we find
alternative to resources which cannot be replaced easily.Just my opinion.
None.
