To adjust the sound of network audio using the equalizer:

1	Open the Window menu and choose Equalizer
2	Click the Equalizer On checkbox
3	Adjust the frequency sliders to boost/reduce specific audio frequencies

The left-most sliders increase or decrease the bass, the right most sliders increase or decrease the treble, and the middle sliders adjust the mid-ranges, such as vocals.

Audion will remember your preferred audio settings for the next time you use the program. These settings also affect MP3 files.

Clicking the Reset button will move the sliders back to the default, neutral position.

Audion also comes with a collection of built-in equalizer settings. Each one is designed to enhance a certain type of music; simply click on the "preset" pop-up menu in the Equalizer window to explore the available choices and load a preset. Let your ears be your guide, or use the settings as a starting point for your own favorite sound!

Note: The equalizer does not work for CD audio.

Tip: Don't worry, the equalizer window scares even us. We recommend you use your ears as a guide while adjusting the sliders; don't worry about what all those numbers mean.
