Interface preferences

The Interface preferences are used to fine-tune some bits and pieces of Audion's interface.

Display settings

The Audion control, and most faces for Audion, contain two lines of text. With this preference you will be able to control the content of these two lines of text for each of Audion's three modes.

    Mode selector:
Use this pull-down menu to choose which mode you wish to edit the display text for.

    Display in line one:
Pick what content, relevant to the mode selected above, that you would like displayed in line one.

    Display in line two:
Pick what content, relevant to the mode selected above, that you would like displayed in line two.

Keyboard control

If you're a keyboard-holic (many swear it's faster!) you can configure exactly what keys you'd like to use to configure Audion's core functions.

    Configure key for:
Inside this pop-up menu are the various Audion actions that can be controlled with the keyboard.

    Press desired key:
After selecting the key you wish to configure above, simply press the key (or key combination) on your keyboard you wish to use to control that action.

Note: Audion looks at 'key content', not 'keys'. As such, Audion sees no difference between the number 'one' key above the alphanumeric keys, or the number 'one' key placed in the numeric keypad.

    Reset all keys to defaults:
If you made a mistake, or just want to start over again, click this button to reset the controls to the defaults.

Playlist columns

If you think the playlist is a little cluttered -- there are a lot of columns in it, we admit -- here's your chance to turn off the columns that you don't find useful. A special treat for anal control freaks! =)
