SNMP Version 3 WG (snmpv3) Monday, August 11 at 1930-2200 Wednesday, August 13 at 1530-1730 ================================= Chair: Russ Mundy There has been a lot of work by many folks and tremendous progress since the Memphis IETF. I want to express my thanks to everyone that contributed to this effort, especially the document editor teams. Thanks to all of you, we have met our ADs requirement to have the specifications in WG Last-Call for the 39th IETF. The specifications will be reviewed during the sessions at the 39th IETF. Generally the review will take the following form: - Document overview - Review of Significant Consensus Items - Identification of any remaining significant issues. "Significant issues" are defined as items in the specifcation that must be changed before the WG can recommend the document can be forwarded to the IESG with a recommendation to progress the document to Proposed Standard. Given successful reviews and WG consensus, the documents will be forwarded to the IESG for their action. To help the editor teams and the chair conduct an effective WG meeting, I'd like to ask that any significant issues be sent to the mail list (snmpv3@tis.com) as soon as possible. There are a small number of items which have previously been identified on the mail list for discussion in Munich, these should be covered by the editor teams during their portion of the agenda.
