MIME Security with Pretty Good Privacy BOF Friday, December 13 at 0900-1130 ================================ DESCRIPTION: PGP has an installed based of over two million users worldwide to date. Now, with the requirements for multipart internet mail extensions, the user population is requesting integration of PGP with MIME. This proposal makes use of the elegant solution proposed in RFC1847, which defines security multipart formats for MIME. The security multiparts clearly separate the signed message body from the signature, and have a number of other desirable properties. This proposed internet standard defines three new content types for implementing security and privacy with PGP: 1. application/pgp-encrypted, 2. application/pgp-signature, and 3. application/pgp-keys. This draft will solve interoprability issues for the large pgp user community. AGENDA: 1. Introductions, sign roster 2. BOF Chairperson to explain purpose 3. Brief description of rfc 2015 by M.
