A good example of Electronic Warfare is an adversary's attempt to jam the radar mounted on the AWACS aircraft. The attack is the jamming attempt and the defense is the anti-jamming characteristics of the AWACS radar that highlights the direction the jamming is coming from. The anti-jamming capability allows the AWACS to continue its mission.
