Rome Laboratories is an Air Force research lab in upstate New York. Their computer systems were attacked by two British hackers, one a 16-year old, from March through May of 1994. They used Rome Labs' systems as a conduit to attack more than 20 other organizations. The hackers' activities included transferring data from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center and compromising software applications packages.
