Cast iron is still very much in demand for the domestic market for the more traditional looking properties which require a certain aesthetic appearance sympathetic with the look of the dwelling.

Ensign is an above ground system manufactured to the new product standard BS EN 877 and is the only cast iron system to carry Kitemark approval to this standard.  Ensign is principally a mechanical system but also includes push-fit couplings which are designed to give a traditional appearance in particular for external applications.

As the couplings are push-fit, installation is quick and easy , compared to the old socket and spigot jointed soil systems.
