Our History
Fairoak Timber Products Limited was founded in 1992 in Hook, Hampshire.
The company rapidly outgrew its original factory, and in 1995, operations were moved to one of the converted buildings on the award winning Manor Farm Estate, at Chilmark, near Salisbury, Wiltshire.
As the company continued to expand, it became apparent that larger premises would again be needed, and following discussions with Manor Farm, conversion work was undertaken on two existing buildings, and our new purpose built factory was opened in 1998.

Window and Door Production
Fairoak Timber Products manufactures all its windows, doors and curtain walling at our 20,000 square foot factory on the Manor Farm Estate.
We have invested heavily over recent years in some of the most modern machinery, and currently operate two Weinig window/door lines alongside other specialist woodworking machinery.
We have our own preservative treatment plant for softwoods, which enables us to offer a 30 year guarantee against rot and fungal attack and a spray shop where products are fully finished with water based microporous stains and paints.
Fairoak's Commitment to the Environment
We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. We take great care in the sourcing of our raw materials, and our computer controlled machinery ensures that we produce the minimum of waste.
Any timber waste we do produce (shavings, sawdust etc.) is extracted to a silo, and then fed into a burner which converts the waste and makes us self-sufficient in heat for the factory.
All factory paint and stain finishing is undertaken in a controlled environment, and we only use water based spray applied paints and stains, so as to minimise harmful effects to the environment.
