The name 'Fairmitre' refers to a patented assembly process that eliminates end-grain on corners to reduce moisture ingress. Mortice and tenon joints are bonded with 'Cascamite' waterproof glue and we employ the latest integral water and draught-proofing gaskets together with high security, multi point dead-locking systems.

Box Sash Windows

You can choose from a traditional Box sash window using cords and weights or a modern, spiral spring balance system which allows the windows to run on extruded metal runners which are hidden within the window frame.  All our windows are draughtproofed with invisible nylon brushes so that they will not rattle or jamb. A neat brass locking fastener is fitted as standard.
