 RBS keeps large stocks of oak beams, reclaimed and new. Shown on the bottom right are some 300 year old beams awaiting wire brush polishing. Once wire brushed, they assume a beautiful patina, ideal for that decorative beam or fireplace. We can supply oak beams either in their raw state or wire-brushed and completely finished with a natural wax polish.
Oak (green) beams shown here on the left are available in any size. Ideal for general outdoor use and timber frame construction. The picture above shows twenty year old air dried seasoned beams. Ideal for construction. We can supply beams cut to your specification. For example, if you are renovating an older property, we can distress the beams making the new additional beams blend in with the surrounding timbers.
