So often, after carefully and lovingly renovating a house, or even building a new one, there may still be one or two dark areas, which may benefit from additional daylighting.
Hallways, landings, kitchens and bathrooms are the obvious areas to benefit from direct daylight and, of course, when utilising the valuable roof space by adding additional bedrooms, games room or home office, providing sufficient window area is often a problem.
SunPipes are the perfect answer with their ability to pipe natural sunlight to practically any part of the house providing not only energy-free lighting but also providing a completely environmentally friendly source of lighting.
Consisting of a silverised mirror finish aluminium tube with a neat polycarbonate dome at roof level and at ceiling level, the SunPipes terminate in an attractive clear polycarbonate diffuser is used for maximum light output but opal diffusers are available for a softer light.
There are three sizes available for the residential market, 8" (200mm), 12" (300mm), and 13" (330mm) diameters with virtually no limit to the length of SunPipe that can be used.
