+SEGMENTO from Poggenpohl
Company: Poggenpohl UK

+SEGMENTO s distinctive style has received international acclaim, culminating in it being awarded the prestigious Good Design Award by the Architecture and Design Museum, The Chicago Athenaeum.

+SEGMENTO combines wide vertical pillars with slim worktops for an unusual look in a variety of materials. The selection includes Poggenpohls Spanish Red high gloss lacquer fronts combined with brushed stainless steel (as shown here), horizontal grain European light oak fronts, and blossom white or light grey laminate.

Aluminium spacing trims around the door fronts allow for handleless or recessed handle designs, if desired, whilst doors in high gloss lacquer are edged with aluminium and wall units with satin-frosted mirror glass in aluminium frames are a further feature.

The unusually slim worktops are made from15mm thick stainless steel or 12mm thick Corian or laminate. Unlike most kitchen designs, they appear to be floating above the base units and finish in a line flush with the doors.

Both fitted and freestanding units are offered in +SEGMENTO in a wide variety of heights, widths and depths to suit any kitchen dimensions. Team this extensive list of unique elements with co-ordinating back splashes in aluminium or stainless steel and the result is one of uncompromising style.
