Brackets Our cast aluminium bracket is the main feature of the Tierra staircase. A lot of thought has been invested in the design of this bracket ensuring it not only fulfills its function but also lends itself to the overall flow of the stair.
We feel this is what makes us unique in the world of spiral stairs.
These brackets are available in a number of finishes including: Mirrior Polish Satin Polish - a brushed matt finish Powder coated - to any British Standard or RAL colour.
Treads A number of tread options are available.
The standard tread is a hard wearing compressed beech plywood, making it much harder wearing than birch or any other plywood. We can also offer the same in Maple.
Or our composite tread, which uses the beech plywood as a core and is finished with a constructional veneer to give the appearance of a solid hardwood tread.
Handrail Timber handrails are available in variety of forms... A rectangular plywood handrail as depicted can be manufactured to match the treads in either beech or maple. For a more luxurious finish we can offer our circular solid wood handrail (as shown on our Bobbin stair) in a variety of species.
We are also able to provide you with a 42mm diameter stainless steel handrail which when fitted, will be welded on site so as to avoid any dry joints. Stainless steel handrails can be either mirror or satin polished.
Balustrade & Guardrail The standard staircase balustrade consists of either polished stainless steel or powder coated mild steel tubular uprights. These can be either mirror polished, satin polished or powder coated to any British Standard or RAL colour to compliment your choice of brackets.
Landings The landing forms an integral part of the staircase design. They are generally supplied to match the treads and are fixed to the existing floor structure and connect to the stair via the top bracket.
