For installations with lighting loads that exceed the capabilities of standard plate dimmers there are Mercury Litestat lighting control systems, both analogue and, now, digital.  In both cases the central dimmer pack goes in a suitable site (basement, switch room, cupboard, attic) while the controls are mounted on plates matching the accessories.  Multi-channel options are available for loads up to 20amp per channel of most light sources.

The analogue system uses tried and trusted technology.  The digital system offers great flexibility and can work with a remote handset.Both types aim to be robust yet simple and friendly to use.
