SHOWING A LOW PROFILE - THE VENT-AXIA SILHOUETTE

 
Aesthetically the Silhouette is carefully styled domestic fan with a uniquely slim inlet fascia - minimising its visual presence within a room almost to the point of invisibility.  But if a careful eye does pick it out, streamlined design ensures that the Silhouette looks good and complements the decor.

Acoustically the Silhouette is uniquely quiet - typically operating at 40dBA or less.  And thanks to high-quality sealed-for-life ball-bearing motors, will go on working this way indefinitely, whatever the mounting angle.

Complying with Building Regulations Document F requirements for the ventilation of kitchens, bathrooms toilets and internal utility rooms, the Silhouette is offered in 100mm

and 150mm sizes for panel, wall or ceiling installation. 

All models feature an ingenious hyper-low-profile internal backdraught shutter to prevent unwanted draughts or loss of warm air when the fan is switched off, and a neon light to show when the Silhouette is running.

Model options feature integral adjustable electronic overrun timing, humidity sensing, and PIR presence detection control, whilst double insulation on all units eliminates the need for separate earth wiring.

The energy-efficiency issue is squarely addressed - power consumption of the 150mm Silhouette is only 35 watts, whilst the 100mm unit uses just 13 watts, making the Silhouette an especially cost-effective and eco-friendly choice.

With the accent on 'minimalist' design, Silhouette nevertheless succeeds in offering specifiers, installers and users appreciably more value - a clear example of the maxim 'less is more'.
