Self Build from Villavent Ltd
Company: Villavent Ltd

Today's Building Regulations call for extractor fans in all 'wet' areas of the home and trickley ventilators at the top of windows for background ventilation in all other rooms.

The result of this is usually to extract al the heat out of a room ina very obtrusive manner (over-run timbers in en-suite bathrooms!) and create draughtss via the trickle vents, which also look rather unsightly.

By incorporating a centralised, balanced ventilation system with heat recovery (now available at 90% efficiency), the ventilation system is turned into an asset to the building and the home owner and not an energy waster! (SAP ratings improved.)

The system incorporates a pollen filter to enhance summer ventilation. A cooling unit can be added to combat solar gain to achieve all year around comfort, providing a real "breath of fresh air".

  • Healthier indoor environment
  • Improved standard of living
  • Security - windows may be kept closed
  • Very quiet operation
  • No noisy extractor fans
  • Energy efficient
