Mr. President,

In the name of the Republic of Hungary we gladly announce that our country is going to join the Internet 1996 World Exposition that was initiated by you on the Internet Multicasting Service.

It is a great pleasure and honour for us that our country may participate in this worldwide event. The fact that in 1996 Hungary will commemorate the 1100^th anniversary of the historical date when the Hungarian (Magyar) tribes arrived in the Carpathian Basin will lay a special emphasis on that.

The Hungarian Pavilion will show the history and culture, the past and present of our country and people. We are sure that many of those who are interested will have access to true and reliable information in that novel way.
