Plansee is the largest powder metallurgy specialist in Europe and one of the world leaders in this field. The company was founded in 1921 by Prof. Dr. Paul Schwarzkopf and now has over 2,500 employees.

Our extensive product range includes: High-melting-point metals and special metals as semi-finished or finished products made from molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, chromium and their alloys. ODS super-alloys, precision parts in sintered steel, sintered iron and sintered bronze.

TIZIT hard-material and tools
Chip-removing tools in standard and special designs, flexible tool systems, cutting materials, hard allovs for non-cutting forming and protection from wear.

In 1993, both Plansee factories, Plansee Aktiengesellschaft and Plansee TIZIT, were awarded the ISO 9001 certificate for fulfilling the highest quality criteria.

93 per cent of Plansee products are exported to all the industrialised countries in the world, either via corporate distripution outlets or through agents.
