GS Backgammon

GS Backgammon is an Apple IIGS specific game, which should be launched
from the finder or a similar program launcher.  Apple IIGS system
software version 4.0 (GS/OS) is preferred; however, the program can be
run under ProDOS 16.  The font Shaston.16 should be in the fonts
folder on your boot disk.

Version 1.1 of GS Backgammon includes an improved computer opponent
and all known bugs in version 1.0 have been fixed.  Version 1.1 has
the same look, feel, and is played the same as version 1.0.

If you have played the earlier version, you know how to use this one.
If not, select "Help..." from the "Game" menu to see the game
instructions.  These instructions provide details on the play of GS
Backgammon (how to move etc.) and assume the player already knows the
rules of backgammon.  If you need help on the rules, refer to "Hoyle"
or any standard game reference.

Even though I have fixed all known bugs, some may still crop up.  I
can't fix them if I can't find them; so, if you find a bug please let
me know.
