A media file refers to any audio or video file SIREN Jukebox plays from the computer. The supported media files are listed below:

Sonic Foundry's Perfect ClarityTM Audio

.pca

New Sonic Foundry Lossless compression technology.

Windows Media Audio 7

 .wma

Microsoft compression format that provides security features to prevent unauthorized duplication. SIREN will create and play .wma files.

Windows Media Video 7

.wmv, .asf 

Microsoft standard for streaming media via the Web. This option renders both audio and video into one file.

Audio Interchange File Format

.aif, .aiff, .snd

Standard audio format used on Macintosh computers.

Sonic Foundry Wave64

.w64

Same as the standard Microsoft Wave (*.wav) files except there is not a 2 gig limit.

Vorbis

.ogg

Audio compression format from Vorbis.

MPEG Audio Layers 1, 2, and 3

.mpg, .mpeg, .m1v, .m1a, .mp2, .mp3
