Creating Portable Player Folders

Certain portable player models support folders. If the player supports this feature, the New Folder button is available, and you can create folders within memory modules. Existing folders can be displayed by clicking the plus sign (+) located to the left of the memory module icon.

An unlimited number of folders can be created, but subfolders are not supported.

To create a new folder

1. Verify that the portable player is properly connected to the computer, as described in the player's documentation.

2. From the Portable Player tab, select the memory module from the drop-down to which you want to add a folder.

3. Click on the New Folder button in the toolbar of the Portable Player tab. SIREN creates a new folder with a default name and displays it beneath the selected memory module.

4. Name the folder and press Enter.

5. Move songs to the folder by simply selecting it prior to sending songs to the portable player list.
