Creating Custom Audio CDs |
Verify SIREN is properly configured for creating CDs in the Preferences dialog.
Verify that a supported CD recorder (CD-R or CD-RW) is connected to the computer.
Select the media to be written to the CD from the Media Manager panel.
Click on the Add to Burn List button . The songs appear in the Burn CD tab as a burn list.
Select the Burn CD tab to view the burn list and verify that the Audio CD icon is selected as the Disc Type.
Click the Burn to CD button . The Burning CD dialog displays a progress meter and approximate time remaining in the process.
Sonic Foundry recommends allowing SIREN to complete this operation. Clicking Cancel may render the CD unusable.
When the process is complete, a dialog displays asking if you would like to close the CD session. Closing a CD allows it to be played in consumer CD players. Once a CD is closed, songs can no longer be added.
Click Yes to close the CD session and display a dialog with the progress and time remaining.
Click No if you want to be able to add songs to the CD. The CD remains at the current position and each song appends to it.
If error messages are displayed during CD writing, refer to Help With Error Messages.
