Clean Database

Edit Menu

The Clean Database option of the Edit menu maintains the database, clearing it of deleted and duplicated file entries. Choosing this option displays the Clean Up Database dialog.

The database clean up options are described below. Clearing a check box disables the corresponding function.

Remove entries to deleted files	Searches the music database for files that have been deleted from the computer and removes the database entry for them.
Delete duplicate files found on your system	Searches the music database for duplicate files and deletes them, retaining one entry for each file.
Ask before deleting items	Alerts you prior to erasing any duplicated or deleted music file entries in the database.
