Auto Rename Files

Edit Menu

The Edit menu's Auto Rename Files option renames linked music files based on the information retrieved from the music database. This option changes the filename to include song information and make the file more recognizable. SIREN uses the following format:

artist-album-track-songname.extension

The file's extension does not change.

To use the Auto Rename Files feature

1. Select a media file in the Media Library tab.

2. From the File menu, choose Auto Rename Files. The file is renamed based on SIREN's renaming format.

3. Click on the Refresh button or press F5 to refresh the media list.

Auto Rename Files command can be used on several files simultaneously.
