cannot play a CD while it is being ripped. However, songs from the
music library can be played-back while a CD is being ripped.

SIREN can be configured to automatically rip CDs placed in the CD-ROM drive. To enable this option, choose Enable Auto-Rip from the Options menu. To disable this feature, select the option again.
To use this feature, the computer must be set up to play CDs automatically. To best use this feature, configure SIREN to query CDDB prior to ripping. This ensures that SIREN stores information for the ripped songs.
In addition, SIREN checks the music database before ripping and only rips those songs that are not already present.
