The biggest technology growth in the next decade will take
place in the so-called "convergence market" - the forthcoming marriage of computers, publishing,
entertainment, cable TV, and consumer electronics.
Microsoft is currently at work on convergence products including Internet systems, interactive
technology software and authoring tools for interactive media. Microsoft's goal is to provide
technology platforms enabling companies to access information and conduct business with customers and
affiliate companies around the world.
