This directory contains the source code and a partially completed
manual of the Plain 'n SIMPLE CFD code.  This software is provided
"as is", without any warranty, expressed or implied on the the fitness
of the program for any use whatsoever.  Gerald Recktenwald, Portland
State University, and all their affiliates, surrogates, relatives, neighbors,
heirs, mascots, fellow earthlings, friends, foes, and fellow beings
(sentient or otherwise), are in no way responsible for your use or even
mere possession of this software.  By downloading this software
you assume all responsibility for its existence on your computer
and any computer to which it is transfered.

PnS is a 2D, incompressible, CFD code based on the control-volume
finite-difference formulation.  It is derived in large part from the
"class code" used by Professor Patankar to teach CFD at the University
of Minnesota.  That Fortran code has been converted to C, enhanced,
and documented by Gerald Recktenwald.  We are sure that Mr. Recktenwald
has also (unintentionally) introduced bugs into this code during his
years of fiddling with it.

The contents of this directory are:

    PnScode.zip    A PC ZIP Archive containing the C source
    manual.pdf     An incomplete manual that provides some orientation to the code
    Read.Me.Pns    This document
    utillib.zip    A PC ZIP Archive containing
                     (1) the source code to a library used by PnS
                     (2) The Microsoft Visual C (version 5) project files for PnS
