This directory contains compressed archives of the QnS program.
Different versions of the program are provided for each of the
Macintosh architectures.

   QnS.Document.hqx An early paper on an earlier version of QnS.
                    Though the menus and dialog boxes shown in this
                    paper are out of date, this paper does give you
                    an overview of how QnS works.  It also contains
                    a *very* brief statement of the theory behind
                    the analytical code in QnS.

   QnS_68k.sea.hqx  for Macs without a math coprocessor.  This is
                    *not* a very useful program since QnS runs very
                    slowly on machines without a FPU

   QnS_fpu.sea.hqx  for 68k Macs with a math coprocessor.

   QnS_ppc.sea.hqx  for PowerMacintoshes.  You really want a PowerMac
                    to run QnS.  This version has fixed the axisymmetric
                    flow button in the "New Domain" dialog box.

   README.txt       The document you are now reading.

   tutorials        A directory containing tutorial exercises to
                    help you learn how to use QnS.  The tutorials
                    are provided as compressed Postscript and
                    pdf files.
