[1. Installing EZ Scheduler]

  To install EZ Scheduler run the SETUP.EXE file using the 'Start'...'Run' command, or by
  using the 'Add/Remove Programs' applet in the Control Panel.

[2. How to use EZ Scheduler]

EZ Scheduler is a reminder program and a process scheduling program all in
one.  EZ Scheduler is a FREE GIFT from American Systems.  No strings
attached.  Distribute it freely to all your friends and associates.

EZ Scheduler allows you to run a program or display a reminder at the
following times:

 . When Windows Starts
 . Once
 . Hourly
 . Daily
 . Weekly
 . Monthly
 . Yearly
 . Other

EZ Scheduler uses a wizard to guide you through the process of creating
a task or a reminder.  Each step comes with complete instructions on the
window describing what to do.  Give it a try!

Note: EZ Scheduler now includes Live Update technology.  Click Help..Live Update to 
automatically upgrade your current version of EZ Scheduler to the newest available.  
It requires an Internet connection.


QUESTION: How do I display a reminder at a designated time?

1. Click the <Add Task> button and a wizard will guide you through the
steps.

2. Click "I want to display a reminder", then click <Next>

3. Follow the on screen instructions to set up a time to display your
reminder.

4. At the "Reminder Message" window find the "Enter your reminder message"
field.  Type your reminder here.  If you want a sound to play when the
reminder is displayed use the <Browse> button to locate the sound file
(WAV).

Click the <Next> button.

5. If you wish, type a description of this reminder.  This will help
you remember the task when you are viewing the list of tasks in the
main window.


QUESTION: How do I run a program at a designated time?

1. Click the <Add Task> button and a wizard will guide you through the
steps.

2. Click "I want to run a program", then click <Next>

3. Follow the on screen instructions to set up a time to display your
reminder.

4. At the "Program" window find the "Program" field.  Use the <Browse>
button to locate the program file you wish to run.  If any command line
parameters are required place them in the "Parameters" field.  Refer to
the documentation of the program you are launching for these command
line parameters.

If you want to play a sound when the program is run, use the <Browse>
button to locate the sound file (WAV).

Click the <Next> button.

5. If you wish, type a description of this program task.  This will
help you remember the task when you are viewing the list of tasks in
the main window.

American Systems provides user support via mail, email, the web and/or
telephone.

American Systems will answer questions and resolve serious bugs.  For
problems involving a specific hardware or software environment or feature,
we may choose not to modify the program.

If a bug prevents you from using EZ Scheduler, American Systems  will
attempt to assist but is not under obligation to resolve issues beyond
our control.
