Korean Barbeque Beef - Filipino Style

Things to prepare:
2 pounds of Korean barbeque beef ribs
2 tbsp of sesame oil or sesame seeds
2 tbsp of sugar
1 can of Seven-Up or Sprite
1/8 cup of Kikkoman soy sauce or oyster sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp of salt to taste
2 pieces diced garlic, optional
Instructions:
1) Put all the ingredients in a bowl with a cover.
2) Season each piece in the bowl and marinate for 1 to 2 days.
3) Barbeque on medium heat fire, brushing the beef with the marinated
sauce while cooking on the grill to preserve its moistness.
4) Serve with salad or cucumber on the side.
