Telephone: 852-2868-1316, 2104-7822
Open Hours: MON to SAT 8:00 pm till late (around 3:00 am)
(Open on SUN if MON is a public holiday)
Entrance Fee: HK$100 before 10:30 pm and HK$180 after 10:30 pm including one standard drink

The new Propaganda (actually close to a year old now) is located on the opposite side of Hollywood Police Station, just walk down those long and narrow staircases, and turn to the left corner.  The entrance is dark and hiding, but the music surely will lead the way.

Once you get into the disco, you have to stand in the line to pay for your entrance fee, and in return, you will get a drink coupon.  Then, go straight to the bar area and sit yourself in for drinks.  The dance floor is on the right hand side of the entrance, where you can dance and drink at the second
bar, which is big and cozy, but more noisy than the first one.

For those who is not used to sitting in one place and would like to crash into another party, you can go to the Cashier and ask for a stamp on your hand.  With this little blue stamp as a pass, you can party between Propaganda and Works (old Propaganda located on D'Aguilar Street) the whole night.

Tips:

For gays: If you are new in town and are interested to see and to be seen, then, Propaganda is a good place for you to show off.  Most guys are trendy, clean-cut and muscular looking, but somehow lacking of passions, it requires a lot of skills to break the ice.  For those who has been in Hong Kong for a long time and haven't been too active recently, I suggest you to go there on
a Friday evening, see if you like the atmosphere, you might find Propaganda an interesting place to go in one of those 'blue' days.

For lesbians: Not much TB or TBG  you will see from this 95% gay bar, however, if you have to find a place to settle down with your gay friends, for dancing or do the talking, it is an OK place to kill a few hours.  Just a second choice outside Wan Chai area.

Straight male: Honestly speaking, not much you can do there, Pal.  No "fishing" but just drink and dance.  However, if you are curious and believe in "Curiosity Won't Kill The Cat", then you should go check it out.

Straight female: Highly recommended for those who is married and having an affair but wouldn't want to be seen by acquaintances.  Also suitable for those singles who just want to have a quiet (bar area, far away from the dance floor) and cozy place to chat with friends.  What I mean is, you will have a peaceful time there as no men will invite you to dance or insist to buy you drinks.  More benefit: no need to put make-up on your face, just walk-in with clean face.
