Not as tech oriented as Res Excellence but still a great splash/MOSS/desktop etc site. This site has thousands of pictures. Another must visit. Though made for Mac, these pix would work fine on PC. |

0ut there, floating in cyberspace, there's positively a plethora of Web sites dedicated to Macs. One rather special site is The Apple Collection. As you might correctly infer from the title, it's a collection of everything Apple - and that means absolutely everything.
Some of The Apple Collection's features aren't what you'd exactly call rare and exotic. There's plenty of other sites around with downloadabie Desktop pictures and e-cards to send. However, very few can compete with this site in terms of numbers or the range of subject matter.
If you want news about Apple computer, this site's got it. Have a burning desire for a paper iMac? You can download one via PDF - in a choice of colours too. The Apple Collection also includes a shop, jokes, puzzles, links, rendered prototypes of Apple products. The list goes on and on.
This is the sort of site where you could lose hours or even days browsing. There's probably only a few of us who've ever thought about examining iMac patents, but when you see them on this site you might just be tempted... |

I don't think I've ever seen this many Mac doo hickeys in one spot! Everything from Mac tidbit rumors to desktop patterns to fantasy Macs. They claim to have 9'085 pictures and 1'165 pages. Umm, I'll just take their word for it. They've got ads all over the durn place but what the heck, it's the Internet. You'll be at this site for hours. Have fun.
