(07.Oct.10) It's Alive!

It is that time of year again. The creepy decorations are in place, the costumes have been retrieved from the attic and the factory floor is anxiously awaiting All Hallows Eve. We would like to kick off the season with a small scary set of icons that will add a bit of the “spirit” to your desktop. Corey has cloned and then genetically modified each icon so there are versions that can live comfortably on a ghostly light or midnight dark background. Grab them quickly before they escape and terrorize the village!

Now that new episodes of Futurama have returned to the airwaves, the show is once again front and center on many a fan’s hearts and DVRs. Foreman Ged Maheux has created a fun, retro desktop picture to tide you over while he toils away creating volume 7 in his Futurama icon series. Here at the Iconfactory, we can’t seem to get enough Trek. Dave Brasgalla is pleased to release the second installment of his icon series based on props for the original 60’s Star Trek series. This round includes the unforgettable “agonizer” device the evil Spock used on Chekov from the intriguing and disturbing “mirror universe”, in addition to some delicious, piping-hot space coffee – served with a smile by a beautiful yeoman, no doubt!

(12.Aug.10) Twitterrific for Mac Updated to 3.2.3

UPDATE: Twitterrific has been updated again to version 3.2.4. This release fixes a rate limiting check with OAuth as well as problems with favoriting and deleting tweets. Version 3.2.4 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later and is recommended for all Mac Twitterrific users.

Announcing the immediate release of Twitterrific 3.2.3 for the Mac. This update adds OAuth compatibility. Twitter will begin requiring applications to use this new authentication method starting next Monday the 16th of August. That makes this new version a mandatory update.

We had hoped to have version 4.0 for the Mac available before this switchover. This quick update will tide us all over until that work is complete.
