When she has skated over a grid, it will be covered up with snow and cannot be used again until you can reset the board. To reset the grids, you must first get Sheri to skate 8 grids or more and then exit any side of the pond. If the passageway opposite the side exited is open the board will be reset and Sheri will enter from the opposite side of the pond. Upon each resetting of the board, one grid will be filled with trees and cannot be skated on again.
When you reset the board 3 times, a special NEXT LEVEL path grid will
appear. You must get Sheri to end in this grid in order for her to continue
to the next level of play. If you cannot get her to skate into this grid then
the game will be over. There are a total of 10 levels in Snow Bound Sheri.
Olympic Medals
There are Olympic medals along
the various cleared paths on Sheri's practice pond. Collecting these metals
will give Sheri extra points.
At the start of the game there will be three
medals on the pond. Every time Sheri can reset the board, the medals she has
collected will reappear. If you can get Sheri to collect all three medals before
resetting the pond paths, then she will get 100 special bonus points added to
her score.
Fast Button
There is a red FAST button to the left of the scores.
If you click on this button, then Sheri will skate much faster through the paths
and will get double points for each grid and medal she reaches. When she reaches
the side of the board she will resume her normal speed.
Scoring
4 points for each path grid
25
points for each medal
100
points if all 3 medals are collected before resetting the board.
Fast Button: Doubles all scores collected.
When the game is over Sheri will get an additional 12 points for each medal she reached and 20 points for the number of times the board was reset. Once the point total has been determined, Sheri's score will be rated on the special Snow Bound Scoreboard.
