Objective
The objective of the game is to have Peggy reach the red present in each puzzle.

Game Play
You select a puzzle by clicking on the Select button at the bottom of the screen.  A special selection menu will appear.  Choose the puzzle you want to load onto the game board by clicking on the puzzle number.   (If this is your first time playing the game then choose DEMO and a special demonstration puzzle will lead you through a practice puzzle.)

You move Peggy using the arrow keys.  The Left and Right arrow keys move her left and right.  The Down arrow key allows her to either pick up or to drop a present.  The Up arrow key makes Peggy Jump up to the height of one gift.

Game Objects
Green Gifts:
The green gifts can be picked up and stacked by Peggy. She can only pick up one gift at a time. 

Round Gifts:
The round gifts cannot be picked up, however, they can be pushed by Peggy  and will roll in the direction pushed until they either hit another object or the side of the game board.

Balloons:
On some puzzles you will see balloons.  These balloons will pop once Peggy has walked over them.  However, if a present is placed on top of the balloons  then they will not pop and Peggy can walk over the present instead.  (Play the DEMO puzzle for an example of this maneuver)  

Doors:
Many puzzles have two doors that Peggy can enter. If she enters one door she will come out the other door in the puzzle.  

Solving a Puzzle
 When you successfully solve a puzzle by having Peggy reach the red present, the score board will record the puzzle as solved by placing a green gift next to the puzzle number.  A red gift next to the puzzle number indicates that the puzzle is unsolved. (To reset the score board you can erase the Pegparty.skr  file.)

Game Buttons
Help:  Peggy's Party Directions
 Sound:  Toggles sound On/Off
Select:  Brings up Selection screenReset:  Resets the puzzle on the game board
Solution:  Shows the solution to the puzzle on the game board
 Quit:  Exit Peggy's Party

Note:  Peggy's Party should not be run with any other programs in the background. Pressing the CTRL, ESC, or ALT key will exit the game.
