Customizing Your Display


It's easy to change the appearance of Web pages.

To change fonts

  1. From the View menu, choose Options.
  2. Choose the Appearance tab, if necessary.
  3. Under Page, specify the font you want to use for each of the following:

    • Proportional Font is the font used for most text.
    • Fixed-Width Font is the font used for fixed-width text
  4. Choose OK.

To change the display of links

  1. From the View menu, choose Options.
  2. Choose the Appearance panel, if necessary.
  3. Under Shortcuts, specify the color of the following:

    • Not Yet Viewed is the color of links to pages that you have not viewed.
    • Already Viewed is the color of links to pages that you have already viewed.
  4. Choose OK.

To underline hypertext links

  1. From the View menu, choose Options.
  2. Choose the Appearance tab, if necessary.
  3. Select the Underline Shortcuts check box.
  4. Choose OK.

To specify custom colors

  1. From the View menu, choose Options.
  2. Choose the Appearance tab, if necessary.
  3. Select the Use Custom Colors check box, and then click the sample boxes to choose your colors.
  4. Choose OK.
