The FLOWER MASTER has an online HELP feature which you can use while you are running the FLOWER MASTER program. The following steps will show you how to use the Online HELP Feature:

| Step 1 | Open the FLOWER MASTER program. (You will find the program at the location you specified earlier during the install process. The default location for Windows platforms is the START>APPLICATIONS menu. The default for MAC OSX platforms is the desktop or startup disk.) When you first open the FLOWER MASTER program, a tips window appears. Read the information in this window and then click on the CLOSE button. (You can permanently disable this window by clicking the box "Show tips on startup" so that the check mark disappears.) |

Click on the green HELP icon in the Main menu panel to the left:

After a few seconds, a separate HELP window appears. This window has two parts. Use the expandable index area to the left to select a specific topic, which then appears in the detail area to the right. (Be sure to use the vertical scroll bar to the far right of the detail area to view all of the help information.)

You can also search by words or phrases using the Online HELP feature. To do this, click on the magnifying glass tab in the upper left of the help window (the tab in the example below is highlighted in blue), enter a phrase (such as "genus" which is circled in green in this example), press the ENTER key on your keyboard, and a results list of locations appears immediately below. Click on one of the results, and the help screen with the word highlighted appears in the area to the right (also circled here in green):
To close the HELP window, click on the CLOSE button in its upper right corner. |
| Step 5 | Click here (or use your Browser's BACK button) to return to the Main Menu for the CD. |
