This README.TXT file covers late-breaking news and usage tips for
Norton AntiVirus Scanner.

Installing Norton AntiVirus Scanner
===================================
If you are using the NetWare Client 32 for Windows 95 from Novell and
see the message "Error - Could not make Setup.exe the shell" during
installation from a network directory, copy the Norton AntiVirus Scanner
files to a temporary directory on your local hard drive then run Setup.exe
from the new location.

VIRSPEC.TXT
===========
In addition to README.TXT, Norton AntiVirus Scanner provides a file
called VIRSPEC.TXT, which is located in the directory where Norton AntiVirus
Scanner is installed.

VIRSPEC.TXT contains information about viruses that cause unique problems
and require special handling, as well as statistics about recent virus
outbreaks.

The VIRSPEC.TXT file is updated monthly by Symantec. The new version is
distributed with an updated virus definitions file, which Norton AntiVirus
Scanner uses to catch newly discovered viruses. See "About updating virus
definitions" in help for information on how to get the updates.
