Insert Path

Inserts a Path into the Animator at the location of the 3D Cursor.

A Path is a spline passing through a number of control nodes. A Path Actor is not visible when the animation is rendered. It is used by other Actors to track their movement along a smooth curve. The speed the Actor moves along a Path is specified by a Path Velocity Curve. Path types may be open, closed, or loaded from a previously saved PTH file.

The shape and number of control points of a Path can be edited with the Vertex/Node Selector Tool. A Path node is selected by clicking on it. The action performed depends on the option indicated in the Path Editor dialog.
