This tool moves the selected Vertices to a new location.
Click anywhere in the view windows and a purple rectangle encompassing the selected vertices is displayed. Continue holding down the mouse button and drag the purple rectangle to the spot to which you want the vertices moved.
To move by a specified distance, double click the Move Tool to bring up the Move Vertices dialog.
To move interactively by 1 pixel, use the arrow keys on your keyboard. To move interactively by 5 pixels, hold down the SHIFT key while using the arrow keys on your keyboard.
