Explodes the polygons according to the specified rules.
Choose from the following options:
Explode from center of model faces - Explodes the polygons from the model's center point.
Sphere center on 3D cursor - Explodes the polygons to the approximation of a sphere.
Horizontal plane at 3D cursor - Flattens or collapses the selected polygons to a zero height (Z dimension) and places the flattened polygons at the position of the 3D Cursor.
Vertical Plane (Front/Back) at 3D cursor - Flattens or collapses the selected polygons to a zero length (X dimension) and places the flattened polygons at the position of the 3D Cursor.
Vertical Plane (Left/Right) at 3D cursor - Flattens or collapses the selected polygons to a zero width (Y dimension) and places the flattened polygons at the position of the 3D Cursor.
Move vertices to nearest grid points - Explodes the polygons such that the vertex of each polygon is moved to the nearest active grid point.
Face Explosion Options
Random | Explodes the polygons randomly using the specified explosion factors. Recommended for exploding vehicles, spaceships, etc. |
Proportion | Explodes the polygons proportionately to the polygon size. |
Uniform | Explodes the polygons uniformly. |
Explosion Factors - The greater the specified factor the more the polygons are exploded from each other. Note negative values can be entered to explode the polygons inward.
