Thank you for your interest in Phoenix Mail. System Requirements ------------------- - Windows 95 or higher - 256-color system or higher - 800x600 screen resolution or higher recommendet - Inprise Delphi 3 Standard Edition or higher License ------- Phoenix Mail Source Edition Copyright © 1998-99 Michael Haller All Rights Reserved. Source Code ----------- Some information about the source code: You need Delphi 3 to compile it, but first you must install the components. The developers of the components are mentioned in the about dialog of Phoenix Mail. All components were changed by myself, so you have to install them anyway. You must replace the file filectrl.res in the Delphi "lib"-folder with the one delivered with this package. Each control has an unique tag number, which is used for the language strings. Negative tag numbers save not only the caption of the control but the hind, too. You can see the last used tag number in the main window. The source of Phoenix Mail is not very object-oriented, it has few comments and has sometimes a bad concept. I'm sorry about this. Development Group ----------------- To develop Phoenix Mail as an open source project and we are searching free programmers, beta-testers and people who are thinking that they could help us improving Phoenix Mail. We would be very glad if you would consider to participate in the development group.
