OpenGL Extensions - vertex

vertex_array

This extension adds the ability to specify multiple geometric primitives with very few subroutine calls.

Separate arrays of vertexes, normals, and colors are prespecified, with an optional stride.
Performance gains on Impact are possible, if host limited, because of reduced call overhead.

Less restrictive than DMA display lists, but not as fast. May not be tuned for first release.
