cineswipe, a graphics-to-movie recording application
This subtree contains the example code for the Cineswipe application.
Cineswipe allows you to record your GL or OpenGL based application's
graphics into a digital movie file (SGI, QuickTime, JPEG) without
touching the application itself. This functionality is exemplified by a
technique for substituting DSO functions in any DSO-based application.
The following subdirectories are included:
- cineui:
contains the code for the UI of cineswipe. The UI serves as the
mechanism through which the libcineswipe.so DSO is "attached" to
the graphics application.
- libcineswipe:
the code for the DSO library that contains the graphics
functions (swapbuffers) that intercept the application's graphics
functions and creates movie frames from the captured data
- bounce:
contains the code for a simple graphics application with which to
experiment with Cineswipe
- doc:
contains the HTML version of the end-user documentation for Cineswipe
- images:
contains the images used by Cineswipe
- include:
contains the include files to build both libcineswipe and cineswipe
go forth!
