Chapter 4: Using the Main Menu
This chapter describes how to install software using the Inst Main menu. It explains how to use Main menu commands in a typical installation session and what to do after the installation is done to put the target back into service. Use the instructions in this chapter to complete the installation after you have performed the procedures in Chapter 3, "Starting an Installation."

If you prefer to use a graphical user interface and Software Manager is installed on the target system, you can access Software Manager from the System toolchest and use it to do the installation (for live installations only). See the software installation instructions in the Personal System Administration Guide for help with using Software Manager.
