Description

This parameter, when set to 1, specifies SVR3.2 style pipes, which are unidirectional. When set to 0, SVR4 style pipes are specified, which are bidirectional.

Value

Default: 1 (SVR3.2 style pipes)

Range: 0 or 1

When to Change

Change this parameter if you wish to take advantage of SVR4 style pipes. SVR3 pipes are the default because they provide faster performance.
