Finding Information About Extensions

While this book provides rather detailed coverage of several extensions, you may find it helpful to look at the glintro reference page for information about the current state of extensions on your system. See the glXintro reference page for more information about GLX extensions on your system.

Note that reference pages for extensions are included where the extension is available. Other reference pages that have new options available because of extensions have been updated accordingly.

All complete example programs (though not the short code fragments) are available in /usr/share/src/OpenGL if you have the ogl_dev.sw.samples subsystem installed.
