Specifying a Minimum or Maximum Level of Detail
To specify a minimum or maximum level of detail for a specific texture, call glTexParameter*() and set
- target to GL_TEXTURE_1D, GL_TEXTURE_2D, or GL_TEXTURE_3D_EXT
- pname to GL_TEXTURE_MIN_LOD_SGIS or GL_TEXTURE_MAX_LOD_SGIS
- param to (or params pointing to) the new value
LOD is clamped to the specified range before its use in the texturing process. Whether the minification or magnification filter is used depends on the clamped LOD.
